APPROPRIATING FUNDS

Donations are managed throughout the year directly to our partners and/or by goods purchased from trusted Greek suppliers. Eliminating a middleman, donations are appropriated in a timely manner.

Additionally, we oversee projects on site many months of each year, ensuring success administering donations as well as assessing continued needs.

WE HAVE DONE THE HOMEWORK

Beginning early 2015, we were among the first sending rescue and camp volunteers, sea surveillance, as well as supplying emergency goods. While Lesvos remains our primary focus, we have expanded our range of service to needs elsewhere in Greece.

We have done the homework. We know where your money goes. We continue to use donation monies with integrity, as we did years ago.

OUR
PARTNERS

Amongst our trusted partners and supported grassroots organizations: Bashira, Gekko Kids, Refugee Education and Learning, Dirty Girls of Lesvos, Hellas Hestia, and One Happy Family. We have worked closely with each organization. These dynamic groups, are not waiting for policy or political climate to change. Exercising courageous plans NOW is essential.

Together, we are making a difference.

FOR THE WORLDS SAKE, LET'S GET THIS RIGHT.

EDUCATION ON TRACK

After addressing safety and food security, education is the next significant conversation when discussing the refugee integration. Structured learning opportunities, outside of refugee camps, are emerging. We support the initiatives.

The future of our world, collectively, is determined by how the upcoming generation gains access to adequate quality education. They need to gain the ability to adapt to change, and establish peace of mind to rise above hardship and loss.

The unaccompanied youth are weary, scared, and alone. They need to know they have a place in the world.

SUPPLYING MORE THAN BASICS

Children have missed primary schooling, setting them behind international standards of child education. Special tutoring integrates them into mainstream Greek schools.

We provide classroom supplies, backpacks, nutrition supplements, enrichment opportunities, aa well as tech equipment for digital literacy. We support caregivers and fund the presence of qualified educators.

With committed fearless leadership, the thousands of unaccompanied youth now stuck in Greece, who are likely to remain in Greece, will beat the odds and become a force for good as adults.

WILLINGNESS TO LEAD

We team with partners who bring higher education, software, skills training and emotional nourishment for women to gain confidence, empowering them to lead their family with clarity and employable skills.

We recognize the extreme grief and disruption that displacement causes in a family. We address the dis-ease of PTSD. Valuable support agencies are being created for adult emotional support and classes. We have specific focus on women’s challenges of safety and opportunity as well as the plight of the unaccompanied youth.

We step forward and carry fresh ideas into commitment, guiding refugees toward greater self-sufficiency. This calls for nothing short of a willingness to fearlessly lead.

Here, amongst these young, these most vulnerable, surely sit our future Einsteins, our Platos, our Rembrandts, … our upcoming Peace Keepers.

With your help, they become positive contributors to society.
